IQAC in MATS University takes care of the quality measure in the teaching-learning process. It catalyses the system for providing quality education, adopting innovative teaching-learning methods and assessing them is a sustainable and continuous process. QQT (Quality, Quantity and Time) is the main spine of IQAC. In MATS it synergizes all the schools to improve their work processes and achieve learning outcomes & objectives. It also facilitates and directly works with the faculty members committees and clubs to plan out the best possible strategies for enhancement of quality in all the endeavors.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MATS University held its meetings to discuss various quality-related issues. The meetings are attended by the list of attendees mentioned in the Minutes of Meetings itself. The agenda items are included in the Minutes of Meetings, and the committee made several key decisions to enhance the quality of academic programs, research, and infrastructure. The minutes of the meeting are circulated to all members, and the action items are followed up in the next meeting.

Planned IQAC activities vs compliance for the Academic Year 2024-25. Status as on 27.12.2024.

1 Academics: All the AC, BOS, etc to be conducted as per timeline. All the Academic council meetings and Board of studies meetings have been conducted timely by all the schools and responsible departments.
2 All the necessary preparations for inspections. PCI, NIELIT and PURC inspections were successfully done.
3 Dikshaarambh to be conducted It was successfully done in the month of July and Aug. 2024 by all the schools.
4 Staff requirement wherever required All the academic and non-academic staff recruitments are timely done by the HR Dept. Still, it is going on as a routine process.
5 Orientation programme for newly joined faculty Done by the schools
6 Planning for Conferences, workshops and Seminars. All the departments were given instructions to do it and it has been done by all the departments.
7 Planning for IQAC Steering Committee Meeting Last meeting was done on 08.06.2024 and the next is scheduled on 30.12.2024.
8 NAAC- Criteria wise the documents must place in IQAC All the 07 Criteria Heads along with the team members have actively worked to systematize the records. Proper filing has been done. Routine and Process monitoring by management is being done on regular basis.
9 Extra-curricular Activities: Committees Plans for new academic session • All the committees are timely conducting the activities. Regular meetings of statutory and non-statutory committees are going on regularly. MOM are timely shared with all the concerned.
• Renewal of Ombuds Person has been done. Dr. Kunj Bihari Sharma is our new OP.
• Ganesh Utsav, Navratri Utsav, Fashion Shows, special days celebrations, competitions were done.
10 Clubs’ activities to be planned by the students All the clubs have conducted their activities in which students have participated very enthusiastically. They have done activities within the University and outside the University in other organizations and institutes. Reports are present in the Club files.
11 Annual Sports and MATSOTSAV Planning Annual Sports has been successfully conducted in the month of Nov.2024. Sports was conducted in the odd semester and the annual function will be conducted in the even semester.
12 Outreach Programs: • Water Conservation Program • Organic Farming • Eco Fem Project • Food Processing • Green Initiatives All the planned activities have been done and are generating a good impact. The reports of every activity have been shared in the monthly progress reports. Also, the progress reports have been kept in the files of Social Work department.
13 Project Planning: • NIELIT • SRLM • Training Projects • Germplasm Conservation • BIRAC Three batches of 30 students each have started in NIELIT project. Another project of NIELIT and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been given a principal approval.
SRLM and other projects are in pipeline.
BIRAC chapter has not given the project.
14 Infrastructural Development: • New Auditorium • Value additions in the Classrooms, Conference Hall, etc. • Lab’s routine requirement and upkeep • Library Upgradation • Hostel Issues • Mess and Canteen Issues New Auditorium work is in progress.
All the requisitions received from the different school for Classrooms, Conference Hall, Labs, Library, etc were considered duly and work is over.
The library has been upgraded as per the need.
Hostel issues related to repair and maintenance have been resolved.
Mess and Canteen issues are resolved to a larger extent, but still international students will take time to acclimatize with the Indian food.
Orell Language Lab AMC has been renewed.
15 International Admissions: • Efforts for getting students from different countries. • International Liaison with the stakeholders. • International Collaborations and MoUs. • Preparedness for the international student’s management • Compliance of all the statutory Compliances • Visited Nepal and Sri Lanka for liaison. Got good response from the government. Understood the higher education rules and regulations of these countries.

• Visited Embassy of Ghana and Zambia in New Delhi.
• Completed the formalities of EdCil Office in New Delhi.
• Developed good rapport with the consultants of different African Countries.
