Mats School of Management Studies and Research conducts a DNA activity for BBA and MBA students on regular basis. News Analysis is an innovative tool which BBA and MBA students themselves (individually or collectively) can deploy to enhance their value to employers and to the corporate world, and thereby increase their earning capacity and choice of their dream jobs.
News analysis is a systematic method of analysing the daily news that pertains to one’s own specialization or area of interest to remain updated and to reinforce the learning in the specific area. News analysis is a method that can sharpen one’s critical thinking and decision-making skills. News analysis is an interesting way to replicate case analysis – though current and incomplete news can give an opportunity for an enthusiastic student to see it as a live case and analyse it in the light of information available in news and from other secondary or primary sources.
