Event summary / outcomes:

School of Engineering & IT and Training and Placement Cell, MATS University, Raipur has jointly organised a two days session on Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Students of final year and pre final year participated in the session. Students from all the departments participated. In the interview panel a mix of faculties from Civil, Mining, and Aeronautical Engineering were present. GD/ PI round aims to test the confidence and presentation skills of the candidate. These are basically personality assessment tests to assess a candidate’s leadership skills, communication ability and problem-solving skills which are essential to succeed as a manager.The students were divided into various groups for GD and also there was group activity “Koun Banega Manager”. The students with managerial skills were identified. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds conducted successfully and students learnt a lot from this session.
