Event summary / outcomes:

School of Engineering & IT, MATS University, Raipur has successfully organized ‘Vishwakarma Puja Celebration’ on 17th September 2022 in Central workshop of MATS University, Aarang campus to pay adoration to the deity of tools, instruments, contructions and Vaastu. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishwakarma is considered and praised as the builder of the palaces of all the gods and the designer of all celestial vehicles and weapons. In Rig Veda, he is known as the architect of the world with knowledge of the science of mechanics and architecture. The program began with a well – informed and motivating address by our Honorable Vice – Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) K.P. Yadav sir highlighting the academic / industrial efforts  in this modern era of science and technology. And encouraged students and teachers presented there to devote themselves to the innovation and research in technical field. Dr. Abhishek Jain Principal MSEIT, also addressed to young budding engineers towards skill advancement. Along with him many other dignitaries which included Prof. Dr. Parvinder Hanspal director of MSED, Prof Dr. A J Khan Principal MATS College, marked their presence on this auspicious day. The entire puja celebrations was conducted and coordinated by Prof. Sheetal Gajjalwar of MSEIT.
