Today, on 30/03/2023, a special session “U.P.S.C. Examination: Facts and Myths” was organized by Competitive Exam Cell,MATS University,Raipur. The invited speaker was Mr. Dilraj Prabhakar, I.F.S. Nava Raipur. Vice Chancellor of MATS University,Prof. (Dr.) K. P. Yadav were present as special guest. The program was conducted by Dr. Bhagyashree Deshpande. Introduction of the program was given by Head of the Competitive Exam Cell, Dr. Prashant Mundeja who informed about the activities of the cell. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K.K. P. Yadav, through his address, told the importance of U.P.S.C. Exams and explained the entire outline of the exam and informed about the things to be kept in mind during the interview. Keynote speaker and I.F.S. Officer Mr. Dilraj Prabhakar encouraged the students through factual discussion and told that three things are most important for success in competitive exams –
1. Students make a schematic outline and follow it strictly.
2. Strong will power turns every impossible into possible, the slaves of success are the keys, we should try to open the lock by changing the keys.
3. Development of writing skills and speaking skills is very important in competitive exams. We can conquer the fort of competition only through good writing and speech with deep knowledge of the subject. The major choices in this field are complete preparation in the right direction at the right time, as well as mentioning the struggle journey of his life, he shared his exam preparation experience with all of us and also threw light on the challenges in the field of work. Guest of Honour in this program D.S.P., Raipur Police, Ms. Lalita Mehar put forth her views and gave tips to succeed in competitive exams. Chancellor of MATS University Mr. Gajraj Pagaria, Director General Mr. Priyesh Pagaria encouraged the students present. Shri Gokulananda Panda, Registrar, MATS University appreciated the members of the cell.
Students of all the faculties of MATS University were present in this program and all the head of the departments, professors and all the members of the competitive examination cell were present.
