One-Week FDP on Research Methodology and Research Ethics

Event Summary – Day 2 & Day 3

After a charismatic Day 1, the second day of MATS University’s FDP brought forward a new learning agenda – Research Ethics.

With great keenness and enthusiasm in all programme attendees, Rtd. Prof. Promila Singh Mam explained about the importance of Ethics in Research. The DOs and DONTs, the MUSTs and MUST NOTs were phenomenally addressed and instilled a great sense of responsibility among the listeners.

Followed by this magnificent approach to Research Ethics, was another categorically stunning approach to Research Writing.

On the successive day, Prof. Rajeev Chaudhary shared his amazing insights on the art and science of constructing a well written research. The participants didn’t just acquire the knowledge shared, but also a learning experience to cherish in the far future.

Day Four and Five of One Week FDP on Research Methodology and Research Ethics was successfully conducted by the Department of English and Psychology. On the fourth day we had, Dr. Suparna Sen Gupta as our Resource Person and sir talked about different Scientific Misconduct in Research and how can one avoid it. On the fifth day, the Resource Person was Dr. Gyanesh Shrivastava who talked about Different ICT Tools Helpful in Writing Research Papers.
