On occassion of World Book Day,School of Library Science in collaboration with Competitive Examination Cell Organised A Book Fest Source of Learning Ideas on 24th April,2023 where different Book Sellers exhibited the books exclusively meant for Competitive Examinations. Students and Faculties bought numerous books from this fair.

Inauguration of the fair was done by Director General of MATS University Shri Priyesh Pagariya, who cut the ribbon at the entrance of the hall. Goddess Saraswati was invoked by lamp enlightening by Honble Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. K.P. Yadav and Registrar Shri Gokulananda Panda. Head of School of Library Science Dr. Kalpana Chandrakar escorted the dignitaries at the Fair. Head of the Competitive Exam Cell, MATS University,Dr. Prashant Mundeja informed about the purpose of this book Exhibition and how it will be beneficial to students. The Book Fair experienced more than 150 visitors and more than 100 books were sold in this fair. Members of the Competitive Cell Dr. Bharti Pujari, Dr. Manoj Kumar Banjare,Dr. Snehlata Barde (Head, School of Information Technology) and Dr. Bhagyashree Deshpande along with staff of school of Library Science Mr. Sanjay Shahjit, Mr. Lakesh Sahu and Mr. Girdhari Pal were also present.
