Raipur. Under the guidance of Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and the direction of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Abinash Mishra, cleanliness campaign is being conducted in Raipur urban area, under which, along with cleanliness of public places, common citizens are made aware with the appeal of cleanliness. In this series, today MATS University joined hands with Swachh Bharat Mission, Raipur Municipal Corporation, and Raipur Smart City Ltd.
In collaboration with Shastri Bazaar, a public awareness program was conducted for No use of polythene & no plastic campaign.
Under this campaign, MATS university Fashion Designing students distributed free hand-made cloth bags and appealed to the citizens not to use single-use plastic, and also administered an oath to the citizens present there to contribute in cleanliness. During this time Raipur Smart City Ltd. General Manager Public Relations, Mr. Ashish Mishra, Nodal Officer of Swachh Bharat Mission, Mr. Raghumani Pradhan, Assistant Nodal Officer, Mr. Yogesh Kadu joined this cleaning campaign with Registrar of MATS University, Mr. Gokulananda Panda, Head of Fashion Designing Department, Mrs. Parvinder Kaur, Assistant Professor Preeti Bhatt and students of Fashion Designing MATS University.
Chancellor Shri Gajraj Pagariya,Vice Chancellor Dr.KP Yadav, Pro VC Dr.Deepika Dhand, Registrar Mr.Gokulananda Panda, Director General Mr.Priyesh Pagariya appreciated the children for this noble cause.
