About Us
The B.Sc Forensic Science course is a 3year curriculum aiming to provide knowledge in the field of investigation dealing with an array of evidence like fingerprint, blood stains, DNA, drugs, narcotics, bite marks, skeletons, body fluids, fire arms and many more. In addition to laboratory testing, the course also encompasses knowledge of cyber technologies, cyber crime and crime scene management.
It emphasizes critical thinking and provides skills required in crime solving and evidence presentation in the court hence widening the scope of career. The course is further empowered by live projects pertaining to crime scene management, judicial system and police organization.
Location: Courses Running in Main Campus, Gullu Aarang.

Vision
Forensic Scientists are the torch bearers of the society and is a science of need in the contemporary context. It develops skilled and socially responsible character among the individuals. It is one of the major pillars of criminal justice system. The Forensic Science Department of MATS School of Sciences seeks to mould their students into Forensic Experts so that they can contribute to Indian and global criminal justice system and society through their excellent knowledge and skills in the field of Forensic Science. Technically, the department aims to develop logically sound as well as ethically strong professionals with innovative leadership qualities and a confident attitude for serving the criminal justice system and society.

M2: To foster an intellectual, ethical & conducive environment to impart high quality education to the students of Forensic Science.
M3: To carry out research and consultancy service in the area of Forensic science, Crime Investigation, Criminology and Security.
M4: To facilitate team work culture and improve the social standards and quality of life of graduates.
