About Us
MATS School of Education provides holistic, value-based and interdisciplinary education; the aim is to train teachers who will empower future generations to live in local and global communities.
At MATS School of Education, Students are taught the core subjects of Education, Environmental Education, Evaluation of Learning and Guidance and Counseling in addition to more traditional teacher-training areas such as Educational Psychology, Content cum Methodology and Practice-Teaching.
In addition to academics, there are ample opportunities for hands-on cultural, spiritual, artistic and community-service activities.
Location: Courses Running in Main Campus, Gullu Aarang.

Post Graduates Program
M.A. - Master of Arts (Education)
Duration
Two Years (or Four semesters)
Eligibility
A person who has obtained a B. Ed. or Graduate Degree from a University or a Degree recognized as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to M. A. Education Course. Provided further that the number of candidates to be admitted shall be 60 or as fixed by the University Academic Council from time to time. Provided further that employed teachers of schools sponsored by the government for undergoing M.A. Education Course shall be over and above the number specified by the University.
Academic Year
There would be academic cycle one from January to June and second from July to December.

M. Phil. (Master of Philosophy)
Duration
One Year (or Two Semester)
Eligibility
Master Degree in Relevant and/or interdisciplinary Subject with 55% marks and 50% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.
Academic Year
There would be academic cycle one from January to June and second from July to December.
Ph.D - Doctor of Philosophy
The Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) & Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes will provide an opportunity to the students to undertake advanced studies in the subject in which he or she has already acquired postgraduation.
