Industrious Women

Women are the pioneers of the nation. Indian culture attaches great importance to women although the oppression of women politically as well as culturally has been considered one of the most controversial subjects till date. Women are the key to sustainable development and quality of life in the family. Recently Gender and Sexuality has also played a major role in improvising the definition of women. For centuries women have been looked down upon and considered as a household item serving men and taking care of their children. Women weren’t allowed to get education or be a part of decision making committees . They weren’t considered wise and bright and thus neglected by the male dominated and patriarchal society. But things have changed and women have been taking major steps in assuring them that they aren’t deprived of their rights. Women can be seen everywhere. From being CEO of Mega Conglomerates to flying planes, from running businesses to treating people during pandemics. The change has been commendable and thus the position of women has become very much visible. Education played another major role in uplifting women and helping them to attain their respective positions. In terms of psychology, women are considered better in decision making and commitment. Thus for businesses women are considered a better option as they are very good at making profitable decisions during times of pressure and don’t put the future of the company and employees at stake. Moreover it is the women who have sustained the growth of society and moulded the future of generations and nations. Being emerging as the source of power and symbol of progress.
