- Brief description about the event/ activity:
The Department of English conducted a Guest Lecture on New Trends and Emergence of Indian Cinema on 24th September 2022. The Resource Person for this Mr Pritesh Pandey, Asst Prof, AAFT University, Raipur. Sir gave a presentation on the history and development of cinema. He also talked about the new trends in Indian Cinema and how and why cinema is an important tool of communication. Students of BA Eng and MA Eng were present for this.

This activity was conducted as a part of celebration of National Cinema Day.
