Workshop at School of Sciences,MATS University

A 7 days workshop on “Tools and Techniques used in Science” is organized by School of Sciences, MATS University in collaboration with Siddhachalam Laboratories,Raipur from 22nd January,2024 to 29th January,2024.
The aim of the workshop is to create an intuitive approach to analysis and benchmarking techniques.
Workshop commenced with Inaugration Ceremony where chief guest was Dr. Bhavna Jain, Director
of Siddhachalam Laboratories, Raipur.
Chancellor of MATS University,Shri Gajraj Pagariya congratulated the department on successful conduction of the workshop.Director General,shri Priyesh Pagariya assured for the organisation of such events in future as well for benefits of students.
The opening remark was delivered by Convenor of the workshop Dr. Ashish Saraf, Prof. and Head,School of Sciences,MATS University,Raipur.
Co-convenor, Dr. Prashant Mundeja interacted with students informing about the sessions of workshop.
Vice Chancellor Dr. K P Yadav addressed the students with his enlightening words to motivate students to excel in science.
Registrar shri Gokulananda Panda, shared experience of his past times as a student in attending events like this.
Dr. Bhavna Jain inspired the students and called for startups.
Various technical sessions are organised throughout the workshop.First Technical session was headed by Dr. Vishwaprakash Roy which comprised of a general idea about the various tools required in the regular practical sessions.More than 50 students participated in the workshop. Dr. Jitendra Kumar and Dr. Sounak Sarkar coordinated the workshop. Anchoring of the Program was done by Dr. Meghna Shrivastava. Other faculties of the department, Dr. Sandhyarani Panda, Dr. RadhaKrishnan, Dr.Bhagyashree Deshpande,Dr. Manoj Kumar Banjare, Dr. Bindushree Baghel, Dr.
Jasmeet Kaur Sohal, Dr. Sunil Kashyap, Dr. Preetika Chatterjee, Dr. Jagriti Chandrakar and Dr. Snehlata Das were also present.
